For the third consecutive year, the programme of the European Innovation and Technology Institute (EIT) is aimed at students and graduates of the health sector and is open for submissions until January 31 2020. The StarShip programme is an educational initiative of EIT Health in co-operation with leading European industrial partners in the health sector, led by the University of Coimbra, the IESE Business School, the RISE (Swedish Research Institute), the Instituto Pedro Nunes and 7 partner companies.
Using a combination of different educational approaches, StarShip is a unique opportunity for participants to engage in innovation in the health sector, to gain access to a global industrial and research environment and collaborate with innovative companies within interdisciplinary working groups actively contributing to solving real industrial challenges.
In these multidisciplinary teams, candidates will develop solutions to challenges, which will be verified in real health care settings, under the guidance of StarShip’s academic team. StarShip's outcome will be a crucial contribution to relevant market opportunities in collaboration with the industrial partners.
