A new survey by the Enterprise Europe Network, covering the period from July 2023 to June 2024, highlights the Network’s decisive role in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Greek client companies of the Network report that the Enterprise Europe Network meets their needs extremely well or very well.
The Enterprise Europe Network is the world’s largest business support network, comprising over 450 partner organisations, 3,000 specialised experts, and 17 sector groups of specialists in key business areas. The Greek consortium of the Network, Enterprise Europe Network Hellas, includes 16 organisations located across Greece, active in the fields of innovation, technology transfer, and international cooperation.
This year, the Network celebrates 16 years of operation. To date, it has helped 4.2 million businesses innovate and grow internationally, while 475,000 SMEs have benefited from its customised advisory services. The Network is committed to supporting small businesses in innovating and expanding their global reach.
According to a survey conducted by the Enterprise Europe Network, the findings reveal:
- Nine out of 10 Greek client companies report that the Enterprise Europe Network meets their needs extremely well or very well.
- Nine out of 10 also consider it very likely to recommend the Enterprise Europe Network to other businesses or to work with the Network again in the future.
- Eight out of 10 businesses describe the Network’s services as high-quality and tailored to their requirements.
Additionally, the survey shows that Greek businesses that received services from the Enterprise Europe Network achieved an average turnover increase of 35.5%.
“We are proud of the outstanding results achieved by the Greek consortium of the Enterprise Europe Network in 2023-2024,” says the consortium’s coordinator, Dr Achilleas Barlas. “Businesses reward us with their positive feedback, as nine out of ten report that we meet their needs extremely well. Furthermore, the fact that our services contributed to an average turnover increase of 35.5% confirms the quality of our work. We are committed to continuing to provide high-quality services tailored to the evolving needs of businesses.”
Significant Achievements of the Network in Greece
The contribution of the Greek consortium to the structure and outcomes of the Enterprise Europe Network is remarkable. Notably, one in ten success stories published on the Network’s international website originates from Greece.
Each consortium participating in the Network is assigned specific measurable targets to achieve within a given timeframe. Moreover, tracking the impact of the services we provide to businesses is crucial for us to ensure a clear understanding of their quality.
The National Documentation Centre (EKT) plays a coordinating role in the Enterprise Europe Network Hellas consortium, the Greek hub of the European Network. It offers comprehensive services to businesses with international ambitions, supporting sustainability, resilience, innovation, and digital transformation.
The survey is conducted through an online questionnaire completed by businesses worldwide that receive services from the Enterprise Europe Network. The data presented here covers the period from July 2023 to June 2024.
