WebEKT is the directory that gathers together all the websites developed and supported by the National Documentation Centre EKT. In the directory WebEKT one may find all the activities and projects the institution implements or participates in, while they are accessible through the various websites. WebEKT provides an easy-to-use environment for the user to navigate through and discover EKT's over 60 different websites.
The interface, that is available in both Greek and English, facilitates the search for open scientific and cultural digital content in the Digital Repositories and e-Publications developed by EKT and, in some cases, in cooperation with other organizations. WebEKT gives the audience the opportunity to navigate through the Greek Digital Libraries' catalogues that have been organized by EKT and are hosted by its computers system.
In addition, WebEKT presents digital applications developed by EKT in cooperation with cultural institutions that offer the users the opportunity to navigate through important Greek cultural monuments and historical venues. The online directory also highlights EKT's actions towards Research, Development & Innovation, such as the website 'Research and Innovation Metrics'. It also introduces the audience to the websites of the European projects it participates in.
