History Online provides information about and for historians. It publishes details of university lecturers in the UK and the Republic of Ireland (Teachers), current and past historical research (Theses), digital history projects (Projects), new books and journals from a range of leading publishers (Books, Journals) and sources of funding available for researchers (Grants). Duke Papyrus Archive

The Duke Papyrus Archive provides electronic access to texts about and images of nearly 1400 papyri from ancient Egypt. The target audience includes: papyrologists, ancient historians, archaeologists, biblical scholars, classicists, Coptologists, Egyptologists, students of literature and religion and all others interested in ancient Egypt. The project of conserving, interpreting, cataloguing and imaging the largely unpublished Duke papyrus collection was supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities , and is part of the Advanced Papyrological Information System (APIS) Project. The site also provides access to Duke's bibliography of monographic volumes, the checklist of editions of Greek, Latin and Coptic Papyri, Ostraca and Tables.

ArchNet is a free educational service open to the public, students, and researchers, hosted and maintained by the Archaeological Research Institute at Arizona State University.The website is designed to promote appreciation, understanding, and knowledge about archaeology and the preservation and interpretation of cultural resources, both prehistoric and historic. Society for Historical Archaeology

The Society for Historical Archaeology (SHA) is the largest scholarly group concerned with the archaeology of the modern world (A.D. 1400-present). The main focus of the society is the era since the beginning of European exploration. SHA promotes scholarly research and the dissemination of knowledge concerning historical archaeology. The society is specifically concerned with the identification, excavation, interpretation, and conservation of sites and materials on land and underwater. Geographically the society emphasizes the New World, but also includes European exploration and settlement in Africa, Asia, and Oceania.

The Archaeological Data Archive includes materials of two kinds - Web documents with archaeological data that may be viewed online and files that may be downloaded from the CSA server for inspection on users' machines with the aid of their own software. Any information available via Web documents may also be downloaded in appropriate forms for use on user's machines. Along with the actual archaeological data are explanatory notes to aid those wishing to use the data.
