Researcher, Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

As a professional MSK physiotherapist, Harris has experience working in private practices, hospitals, and general practitioners' clinics. Working in a variety of settings has given him a more comprehensive perspective on the industry and an understanding of the demands and developments in each discipline.

He has always had a computer with him, from playing video games to completing his master's thesis in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and it is currently assisting him in reaching his professional and personal objectives. He now views it as an excellent instrument to employ in conjunction with his expertise of musculoskeletal health to explore digital health and promote public well-being.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, remote physiotherapy roles became increasingly popular. Harris viewed this as a chance to enter the telehealth industry, where he enjoyed working in various GP clinics (NHS) as a First Contact Physiotherapist in hybrid role. There he had the chance to gain experience in Telephone, Video and Chat-based triaging and consulting with musculoskeletal patients. But Harris was more concerned with making a bigger impact in the world. Here are several examples: - His passion to empower patients with tools in self-management and their musculoskeletal health using digital health means - The project with his partner about Nature based interventions to reduce chronic pain (bridging Physiotherapy and Landscape Architecture) The endeavor to enhance his well-being through a more balanced work-life schedule. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. Harris also tries to stay consistent in playing the Oud and go for a hike whenever possible!
