Florina Telea is Head of EU4Health Unit in HADEA.
A lawyer by training, Florina has been working for more than 25 years in public administration and legal services both at national level and within the European Commission. She started her career at the European Commission in 2005 at the Legal Service. Before joining HaDEA, Florina has held various positions within the European Commission of gradually increasing responsibilities in policy areas such as internal market, health, trade and investment negotiations with the US. She has also acted as Vice-Chair of the Trade Policy Committee during the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU. Previously, Florina worked at the Romanian Ministry of Justice on enlargement.
Florina Telea is a qualified lawyer, and she holds a master in law from University of Bucharest and University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, as well as an LLM from College of Europe (Bruges).
