Katleen Engelbosch earned degrees in Law & Philosophy (KUL Leuven, Belgium) and specialised in European Law at the College of Europe (LLM - Bruges Belgium). Prior to joining the European Commission, she practiced law at the Brussels’ Bar of lawyers, she conducted research on trade issues at a University and she worked as a Director ‘Public Affairs’ at a US-based multinational. Katleen works in the European Commission since 1996, first in DG RTD (Research and Innovation) and since 2009 in DG CONNECT (Communication Networks, Content and Technology). In April 2021, she was seconded by DG CONNECT to the European Health and Digital Executive Agency, as Head of Department responsible for Digital, Industry and Space.
