Marianna Lagonikou holds a BSc in Animal Science and a MSc in Current Food Technology, both from the Agricultural University of Athens. Her research interests include animal husbandry, nutrition and welfare as well as food microbiology, quality, safety and sustainability. Her dedication to research is evident through her involvement in various national research projects, demonstrating her commitment to advance the field. Complementing her academic prowess is her professional experience, particularly as a Project Coordinator at REZOS BRADS SA, where she is actively engaged in implementing and coordinating national and EU projects.
